I guess a MS Word is different then a typewriter.

So after 2 weeks of countless analysis and indications that the Bush National Guard documents were false, CBS comes out to say, “We should not have used them, that was a mistake, which we deeply regret.” You would think a National Broadcast station such as CBS would check the validity of documents before running with the story for 2 wks.

If you missed the memo… it goes like this. CBS recieved documents regardong Bush’s National Guard Service. The supposed author of the documents had passed, and the family, refuted the docs. Document and typography experts, showed the documents not to have been typed on a type writer, but probably using a PC with MS Word. After a Military Secretary reported the documents as falses, the true author, Bill Burkett, comes out to say the intention was to mislead CBS. I think its about time some of the new media does some research before subjecting the public to their political agenda.
