Waiting for grades…

Posted on | May 31, 2005 | No Comments

Grades still not posted for my Spring Semester at Palomar. Correct that… all but 1 class was posted. All A’s so far which is great because it was a difficult semester with 5 classes.

This last semester I had a really bad teacher. Never updated the students on when assignments were received, and when they were not. 5 weeks later you could realize you were missing two assignments, but because he has ‘no control over the internet’, he’ll assume you just didn’t turn anything in. I complained and he told me to ‘get over it’. I thought I was alone. Towards the end of the semester, I complained again, and so did many students. Overnight my grade went from a 70% to a 100%. Seems the teacher didn’t want a rebellion in his class and students reporting the problems with the teacher. I guess he bought his job security with grades. I still reported the problems to the department.

Last weekend, Keri Ann and I went to Coronado with some of her friends. We got some great pictures. The boat wasn’t working so we’re going to do it again in the future.

Megan came out from DC for Memorial Day weekend. We took her out on the boat, which was running again, and to a Padres game. Good times, sucks she has to go back to DC.
