Bolts 36 – Rams 21

Posted on | August 21, 2005 | No Comments

The Bolts shaved the St. Louis Rams 36-21 in their second preseason game this season. The sheering was handled before a Sold-Out crowd at the Q.

LT ran for a 55 yd TD, Michael Turner was earning his back-up spot, and Bree showed the NFL why he’s going to be the starting QB. Nate Kaeding also kicked 2 FG from 35 and 40 yards, which was reassuring to see.

On a side note, Antinio Gates showed up to sign his 1 year tenure deal but will miss the Home Opener Sept. 11., but will play the remainder of the season. His agent agreed to continue negotiations until the Sept 11 game, where if a new deal is not signed, AG will be shopped around the NFL, becoming an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
