Padre grandslam shutdown Giants in Gm 2.

After a really tough loss last night the Padres were looking to take a win in the series and take a step closer to the October Classic. The Padres prayer was heard and answered with a grandslam homerun in the 4th by Ramon Hernandez.
In the second the Padres pitched to Bonds and regretted it, when he hit a 3 run homer on the first pitch. Barry Bonds’ No. 708. Padres countered with a three run inning of their own. The Giants will get 1 run per inning until the 4th. Pads picked up a pair in the 3rd. The game changing hit came in the 4th, with two outs.
The grandslam shocked the Giant’s system, and they never recovered.
Congrats to the Angles beating the A’s in Oakland and winning the AL West. The Braves also won the NL East. That’s 3 divisions decided, and three more to go.
The Padres can clinch tomorrow or Friday with a win against the Giants. Tomorrow is Pedro Astacio and Brian Lawrence on Thursday.
