Bolts trample Pats 41-17

What can I say about these chargers… After stumbling through the first two games the bolts are back on track. With a few changes in the first two games the bolts could be 4-0 right now. But with their second win the bolts are 2-2 and tied for 2nd in the AFC West. With the win the Chargers also snapped the Patriots 21 game winning streak at home.

9/10 Experts Blame Injuries
…and the same 9/10 experts said the Pats will overcome the injuries… So when were they wrong? The Patriots have come out and said they can’t blame the injuries, they were just out played. Injuries had to be a factor in this game and the chargers took advantage of it. It became painfully obvious when Michael Turner ran over Rodney Harrison’s replacement in the 4th qtr. Marty has commented on something being wrong in Boston.

The offensive line stood strong again and allowed 0 sacks on the day. This is a vast improvement over the first 2 weeks where Brees was constantly pressured and LT couldn’t find a running lane. So I give full credit for the 2 wins to the offensive line. Brees has been great, Gates has his grove, McCardell is looking like a #1 receiver and LT… well he’s LT. Amazing as always.

Scoring summary.
