Red Death '96

Posted on | January 29, 2006 | 1 Comment

Almost 10 years ago a little Fraternity off Broadway in Long Beach through a party. It was the largest fraternity party each and every semester. Red Death.

Phi Kappa Tau was this fraternity and my first experience with Red Death. Red Death was a great party drink, served out of large trash cans. It was guaranteed to fuck you up with a single glass. The ingredients are still classified, but were passed down from class to class.

I joined Phi Kappa Tau in 1996, and was there when the house was shut down in 1998, and then rechartered. One of the finest groups of individuals I have known.

Any how, digging through my garage I found my t-shirt from that occasion. I had wore it with pride around campus and am glad I found it today. It will be framed and hung next to my certificate, card and letters.

If you recall the party… I would love to hear about your experiences…

To this day I still talk about that party. I miss the old crowd, too bad the newbies never got to experience RED DEATH!
