NFL fans love Star Wars.

With the 2006 NFL season kicking off in less then 2 weeks I felt it time to get this out and over with. Whats with all the Star Wars costumes at NFL games?

Darth Vador costumes can be commonly through out the Oakland Collusium during Raider games. The black costume fits in well in the black hole. It is fitting the Raiders choose the one costume with a mangled deformed individual hiding inside in a tough exterior.

Becoming more common are the stormtroopers. The best example of this so far is the stormtrooper that often appear with the Darth Vadors. One bengal fan has painted his costume with the team colors. Charger Stormtroopers wear the team inspired sweatbands.

Should I expect to see Imperial Troops at Chiefs games or Wookies at Bears of bills?
