Pluto gets the boot…

Yesterday a group of 2,500 scientists have adopted some new classifications of what constitutes a planet and what a ‘dwarf planet’. After 76 years of recognition as a planet, Pluto was demoted to a dwarf planet. What’s dwarf planet… Well its a small planet. 2003′s 10th planet, UB313, will also get the demotion… Apparently after years of teaching grade students that 9 planets exist in the solar system was wrong.
Petitions have begin to reinstate Pluto, but it looks as if its an uphill battle. They even have tshirts proposed bumper stickers… see artist rendering. More information at plutoisaplanet.org
But dwarfs and pluto spell a disney conspiracy to me.
