Padres clinched the National League West for the second consecutive year, beating the Dbacks 7-6 near comeback game for the Dbacks. The stage is finally set with the Cardinals backing into the NL Central and the Dodgers snagging the Wild Card.

As you can follow, there is a great chance of the Dodgers playing the Padres for the NLCS next week. I felt so confident about this match-up, I purchased tickets for the 5th game in Los Angeles if it would come to that. I think it would only be fitting.

Yes, the GM who’s head was first in line for the chopping block earlier this season is now under consideration for GM of the Year.
