Chargers Getting New Uniforms

Posted on | March 10, 2007 | No Comments

Chargers announced their new uniforms and logo.

The main colors stay the same, with the navy blue at home, white on the road and powder blue for the throwback games. The bolts on the shoulders are now contained in a stripe used in previous designs. Numbers to the shoulders, and the vneck is gone. Most significant changes were made to the helmet. Its now white with a new bolt design, outlined in powder blue. The bolt down the leg is now 2 pointed rather then 8 points.

This is the chargers 4th major revision to the uniforms. Since the last major change 13 teams have updated their uniforms, and that does not include the Jaguars, Panthers, or Titans (New & Relocated Franchises)

Personally I would of liked something in the Powder Blue variety, so i think its a mistake. But this also gives me an excellent excuse to buy a new jersey when they are released in April. Add bonus… all my other uniforms are throwbacks now!
