Ready for some football?

So season tickets arrived a few weeks back. I’m lagging on blogging but things have been super busy. I’m amped about the charger season starting back up.

The Seahawks game was sort of what i expected to see. Rusty players taking the field. But the countless false starts and illegal procedures need to cease immediately. I heard one excuse about how these guys are trying to make a statement, and that causes premature movements… BS. Don’t move and make the statement you can go on a proper count.

Daren Sproles, the little pinball, has been getting some time in the backfield with LT and Turner sideline. I think there is little doubt that this kid makes the team. Just looking at the return game alone, leaves a permanent smile on your face.

Norv Turner has taken over for Marty. Still don’t know if this is the best thing. I think its a good fit for the current staff, and it sounds positive from what the players are saying. I just hope the new coaching staff meshes and get the job done.

The draft was nice… but I can’t wait to see what Davis and Weddle bring to the mix.

…of course there is still LT, Gates, Merriman, Rivers, Phillips, Crowmartie, Jammer… etc etc.
