Burning Man from above…

A huge 8698 x 8735 pixel (7.32 MB) jpeg of Black Rock City, during the recent Burning Man Festival has been released. The eight day gathering take place in Black Rock City, an spontaneous city Northwest of Reno. Ending on Labor Day, the event promotes radial self-expression, and self-reliance, resulting in a woodstock like chaos.

Despite the individual expression taking place on ground level, the event takes on a structured, paleolithic like appearance from miles above. I think its great, even in our most primitive and instinctive states, there seems to be some logic behind it all.
