Make St. Patty's Day a Holiday

Did you know there are nine times more Irish Americans in the United States then the population of Ireland? Guiness wants to make St. Patrick’s Day an official US Holiday. They are gathering signatures from Americans, so they may petition congress to make it a Holiday. Sounds crazy right? Well they already have 40k signatures and need a million to reach their goal.
They are claiming that making St Patrick’s Day an official holiday won’t reduce the amount of employees missing work on ‘Hangover Recovery Day’ (March 18th) but it a great way to celebrate their Irish Heritage and love for being Irish.
Sign the petition and help them on their way.
