1993 Ford Explorer Sport

After sucesfully passing my driver exam my pops and I headed to Mossy Ford in Pacific Beach to search for the perfect first car. We found a low milage 1993 Explorer Sport. It met all the parental requirements and met all of mine as well.

From the begining I wanted to get this thing into some dirt. It climed sand dunes in Palm Desert, and split a river of mud off Black Mountain Road. It wasn't until 1996 when I started really playing with it. It was quite unusual to see a modified explorer back in those days, and finding parts were difficult, but I did my best with custom builds and more universal modifications.
